About ARDELL
Ardell was incorporated in 1958 with sales offices and marina in Newport Beach, California. In 1962 owner Don Haskell recruited brokers Craig Cadwalader, Tom Corkett, Dennis Moran and Jim Elliott. All are still active full time brokers with the Company today.
In 1971 Ardell opened its Fort Lauderdale office and soon thereafter built a state of the art facility in the heart of "The Yachting Capital of the World". Over the next 40 years many hundreds of yacht owners purchased and sold their boats with the help of Ardell's veteran sales force based on both coasts of the U.S.
Yacht brokerage is the heart of our business. We provide advice to yacht owners on pricing and marketing to insure the earliest sale at market price. We assist yacht buyers in choosing quality vessels that really work for their individual and family requirements. Choosing the right boat, of course, is all important when it comes time to sell.
Over the years we have assisted our clients with new yacht purchases and custom build projects in Holland, Germany, Italy, Turkey as well as a number of shipyards in the U.S.A.

We begin the process of helping you purchase your yacht by getting to know you and your boating expectations. Once we learn your preferences as to size, style, cruising areas, type of use and budget, we then suggest a number of vessels to begin the selection of the most likely choices. Now it's time to board and tour the actual yachts. Once your selection is made we assist you with making the offer and carrying through with the final negotiation and closing. We assist with crew selection, insurance, registration and offshore flagging. Ardell has been in business for over 50 years and under the same ownership and management since 1963. We have assisted hundreds of our clients in the sale of their yachts, power and sail, large and small. Our large data base of potential buyers is continuously updated along with our content management system which allows us to perform target marketing to qualified prospects.
When we list your yacht for sale it is shown in the major and regional publications in the U.S. and Europe. Your yacht is marketed through the primary MLS systems, YachtWorld and YachtCouncil. We keep our worldwide network of co-brokers up to date and regularly informed about your yacht.
